2nd child of couple dies

In the news article "2nd child of faith-healing Philadelphia couple dies" it is talking about how a couple lost one on their years ago and now they lost another one. The 8-month old son had diarrhea, and hadn't eaten for a week and a few days ago he died. The doctors aren't exactly sure yet why he died, they are still trying to figure it out. This article also says, the parents are deeply distraught over the loss of another child. I think that these parents are disturbed and something is wrong with them because they could have prevented this if they would have gotten their baby some medical attention. These parents aren't really good parents because this is the second child they have lost which means they aren't doing something right. They should carry this investigation a little further to figure out why these parents are having kids but they keep dying because 8-month old should just be dying.

North Korea

In the article "Korean War Part 2" it is explaining how North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is going to send a missile to bomb. People are really wondering what his true intentions are because first he was sending off a pre-emptive nuclear strike and then he says he doesn't want to do war. They are spending all this money on bombs and missiles to protect themselves from basically nothing because as long as they don't send off any bombs or missiles the U.S. isn't worrying about them. I think that they are taking this situation a little too far because their using most of the money they have for unnecessary things like missiles when really they could be using it for more important things like all the Internet and stuff. The fact that Kim Jong Un came in taking over for his father and starting this is ridiculous because before he took over for his father all of this was not happening. They should leave things peaceful like the way it is before world war 3 begins and things really get carried away.

Walking into Guilt

Sitting in a resturaunt,
arguments of forks and water,
quieting a group of chrildren.
apple ipads, its like pulling a rabbit out of an hat.
feeling guilty this is the only way to keep them occupied.

What does a tablet do to a childs mind

The fact that all you have to do to keep kids quiet is pull out a tablet or an apple ipad is shameful. Kids are having their whole lives revolve around this new technology. This is hurting them more but also helping them becuase now a days you really have to know your way around technology to survive. The future holds much worse becuase the next generation will have more gadgets to play with and keep them occupied for hours on end.

Minimum wage

In the article "Time for a raise" it is talking about how president Obama feels that it is time to change minimum wage from about $7.25 to $9.00 an hour. The atricle says that prices are pretty much going higher on the sale of things so we need to put more money in peoples pockets so they can afford what they need. In the article it is also saying that if they begin to raise minimum wage that some people may lose their jobs because the business can no longer afford to keep them. I feel that they should raise it because things are only getting more expensive and if you dont have all the money you need you wont be able to get it or for some people pay your bills. I know a lot of people that are looking forward to getting a summer job and they should be paid more because instead of sitting at home relaxing they are working.

Slaughter of the elephants

In the article "Slaughter of the elephants" is telling us how they are killing off elephants for their tusks. The article is explaining that 62 percent of elephants vanished from 2002-2011 because they are being poached for their ivory. They are creating new trees which are contributing to the clean air that we like to breathe. I feel there is a different way that they could get the ivory like maybe putting them to sleep because these animals are very important to the rain forest. If they cant get the tusks without killing them then maybe they should not get it at all. Also these are amazing creatures so why would you want to kill them off.

8th grade hitler

In the news article "New Castle 8th grader facing 11 charges" it is talking about how an 8th grade boy made a hit list. The boy made a hit list of people he wanted to kill. Also in this article it is talking about how the parents are mad because they weren't informed right after this event happened. I feel this should be taken more seriously because peoples lives were in danger.

In the article "Celebrities for sale" it is saying how Beyonce will be on the new pepsi can. In the article it says that pepsi is unhealthy and it causes weight gain but kids will still be buying it because she is on the can. Also it says that doing this helps her be creative. I believe that her doing this is not a good idea because a lot of people look up to her so she is basicly encouraging them to go and gain weight.
